Brachycephalic or dogs with short noses are becoming the most popular dogs worldwide. While they are super cute and have great personalities, many also have problems breathing. We are dedicated to improving the breathing of these dogs through multi-level BOAS (brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome) surgery. At UVSS, we are able to open the nares more with a Ala-Vestibuloplasty than traditional wedge resection. We are also able to perform soft palate resection, tonsil resection, and laryngeal saccule resection with our state of the art surgical laser.
We offer high quality dental cleaning. We are able to see painful problems under the gum line with our digital x-rays. Abscessed teeth can not only cause pain but can affect the whole body. We can perform complex surgical extractions and close over the extraction site with a gingival flap when needed. Let us help your pet feel better!
